This is insanity. I've been engaged for less than 3 weeks. In that time, I have:

   -lost sleep
-gained 10 pounds from stress eating
-driven everyone around me crazy (or at least I feel like I have)
-come up with, and canned, over 100 ideas for everything from

flowers to music... more from 'something borrowed'

Our Wedding Day *with pics*. My wedding day was the most beautiful day of my life. It was perfect and stress-free. The weather was great. It started at about 6:45 AM. I couldn't believe the day was here already! We were at the salon by 8:30AM. Our hair and makeup looked great. Around 10:30AM we left the salon and went to my Aunt and Uncles house where we got ready. Even when I was putting on my dress, I still couldn't believe it was here. The limo arrived around 12:30PM, and it was time to go to the church. I started to get a bit nervous when we got to the church because I was walking down the aisle by myself. But I was still calm and it was the most amazing moment of my life... more from Janie-lee and Jesse

Our honeymoon - from grand to worst. I know you ladies have been waiting quite a while to hear about my honeymoon in gut wrenching detail. Your wait is over!
On October 16, 2005 we boarded an Air Canada flight and headed for our dream honeymoon...

My exciting proposal story. Okay, so it was totally a surprise. It was our 2 year anniversary and we were at my FH's cottage with his family celebrating his brothers birthday. It was the September long weekend. We had just gotten home from a 2 week trip to France and Spain for another friends wedding. And I was sad that he didn't propose in France, but I figured, okay, he's not ready. So anyways, after lunch one day I was helping my FH's brother wash dishes and my FH disappeared. After a while I went looking for him and when I got to the bedroom there was an envelope with my name on it and a backpack. I opened the envelope and it said something like "Here is your mission. You must take this backpack and a bathing suit and follow the clues to find my whereabouts. Do not tell anyone what you are doing. You must take a photo of yourself at each new location." So I read the first clue and it was... more from plantgirl

Brides rave about Latino's huge selection, 'take home' shoes & award-winning customer service

For many, shoes are a girl's best friend. For others, the wedding day is the first time they've put real thought into shoes that are meant to make a statement. Latino's Shoes & Accessories is a popular shop in Cambridge that is filled end to end with dressy, dye-able, customizable shoes of every size, style and shape. From strappy sandals to stilettos, Latino's has the shoe you're looking for - and the purses to match! Also carrying tiaras, bridal jewellery, men's and children's shoes, wraps, shawls, cape rentals for winter brides, hair pieces, luggage, swimsuits, watches, and more, The Ring spent hours in this wonderland of accessories... and we're not the only ones.

Bonnie Pereira first became interested in shoes and accessories after years of ballroom dancing - more specifically, Latin ballroom dancing. She found that it was difficult to find quality dress shoes that were as beautiful as they were comfortable - especially for dancing, where sturdiness and comfort were key. About three years later, her husband came home to a living room filled with 300 boxes of specialty, quality, dress shoes... click for more

Pamela Wideman uses a contemporary, fun and personal approach to weddings

Pamela Wideman's photos are fun, sweet and contemporary. Her photography is great not only because she's experienced and educated in her craft, but because she loves what she does. For Pamela, wedding photography isn't work. She meets couples at their home, bringing her portfolio to them in their own comfort zone. To this young professional, the best parts of wedding photography include meeting new people, progressing her style and technique from wedding to wedding, and gathering new ideas and new ways to show the best parts of your wedding day. With a 'buffet-style' approach to pricing and a young, enthusiastic personality, Pamela Wideman is a great option for any local bride.

Pamela went to school for photography at Fanshawe College. During and after her studies, she assisted a major London photographer, while finding and developing her own style. Pamela then went on to photograph independently, in both the London & Tri-City area. Pamela has her LLPO (Licentiate Professional Photographer of Ontario) and to date, she has brought her style and personality to more than fifty weddings... click for more

A local make-your-own wine store has become ultra-attractive to brides and grooms over the years, and for several good reasons... This 'on-premise winery' teaches couples how to cut wedding wine costs by up to 70%, add a personal touch (and taste) to their wedding reception, and then top it all off by custom designing classic gifts for guests to take home. When you make your own... click for more

A Universal offers luxury transportation & service to local brides

When the staff at The Ring visited with A Universal on their expansive grounds located between St. Thomas and Aylmer, we were blown away by what we thought, originally, might have just been another limousine company. We knew that A Universal has been among the ‘who’s who’ in luxury transportation for over a decade, but now we know why. By focusing on providing tons... click for more
