Roy-Al Rentals creates fantasy outdoor weddings for brides

Guelph company, Roy-Al Rentals, spends each week creating fantasy outdoor weddings, customized just for their clients. Owners, Al and Pat Lefneski, have everything a bride needs to bring together the day she's been dreaming of since childhood. From tents, chairs, tables, and linens to glassware, lighting, dance floors, and wedding arches - the options seem endless. Roy-Al Rentals is one of those wonderful long-time, family-owned companies that you feel safe trusting your wedding with. Operating since 1973, they have the experience, versatility and personal touch you can expect from a company that has been running successfully for three decades. click for full story

This family business is busy with weddings every weekend typically doing approximately 25 weddings per weekend during their busy season, some of which include a complete overhaul of an outdoor space including tents, tables, chairs, linens, dishes and accessories. With that many events, it would be easy to wonder if quality gets lost in the numbers...

most romantic proposal: 'Valentines Day Proposal!' by secondtimebride

Very Happy I was widowed 6 years ago at age 42 and left to raise my 3 children. I basically thought my life was over. I dated a few men about 4 years after my husband died but most of them were after one thing only. Then I met Don. I had placed an ad in the personal column of the Guelph Mercury and he read it in the Hamilton Spectator! We met for coffee at Tim's and spent 4 hours talking! The rest is history. He gave me a beautiful diamond eternity band at Christmas but did not ask me to marry him then, only to spend eternity with him. To me that was heaven. But on Valentines Day 2004 he arranged with my parents to watch the kids and he took me to Niagara on the Lake. We walked around the stores in the snow, took a horse and buggy ride and walked down by the lake, it was beautiful. When we went to supper, the restaurant was all done in pink, red and white for valentines day. We had a beautiful table by the fireplace, with candles, and flowers on it, all set up by him earlier in the day when I was taking a nap. After supper, he started telling me how much he loved me and my children, and then he got up, came around the table, got down on one knee (he is 50 and has a bad knee, so this was a lot for him), and asked me to spend the rest of my life with him. Of course we both started crying and I said yes! The whole restaurant cheered and the waiter gave us free drinks. It was the most romantic day of my life.

my diary fave: 'Close' by Cilairus

I just realized there is only 3 and a half months to go! I'm starting to panic cuz there are a bunch of things to do like getting favours, getting a bunch of decorations, getting a song for the ceremony and getting the music together. Is anybody else feeling the same thing? Surprised
